| May be responsible for receiving, shipping, loading, unloading, and transporting products into and out of Randy’s Ring & Pinion distribution center. Position may also involve building kits for orders, order filling, and maintaining records. |
|
• Pull merchandise according to part number and quantity; invoice sales orders sent by Account Managers.
• Receive product and ensure it is placed in the proper location within the warehouse. Compare packing list to contents to ensure accurate shipment.
• Prepare items to be shipped in appropriate shipping material; pack merchandise by verifying that all parts are pulled correctly.
• Build kits for shelf and for orders according to the build list.
• Pull weekly transfers.
• Arrange parts in pallets keeping in mind size, weight, and height. Load trucks keeping in mind cubic weight, size and other characteristics.
• Re-box merchandise with correct branding making sure it is packed correctly.
• Re-stock shelves as needed to assure available product.
• Ensure that customer orders are prepared and shipped in an efficient and timely manner.
• Operate forklift as needed if certified.
• Responsible for monitoring inventory and quality control of products.
• May assemble parts, invoice, and count stock (inventory).
• Maintain up-to-date product knowledge of existing inventory.
• Communicate with internal departments such as Sales, Accounting, Purchasing, Marketing, and Human Resources.
• May perform some facility duties such as painting, sorting mail, moving furniture, etc.
• Responsible for maintaining a clean work area and overall cleanliness of the warehouse (i.e., free of trash, product in correct location, etc.).
• Follows preventative maintenance and safety programs, to include maintenance logs and schedules, procedures for reporting injuries, MSDS Sheets, and OSHA/WISHA compliance procedures.
• Observes and assists internal and external auditors for compliance with safety and security standards.

• Proven experience in effectively working in a highly stressful and driven environment.
• Able to works productively (i.e., receiving products, picking products, etc.) with little supervision.
• Ability to work in a fast paced environment with a 0 error ratio.
• Full comprehension of all materials and supplies carried by Randy’s Ring & Pinion.
• Able to use the following tools on a consistent basis: forklift, computer, electronic parts catalogue, hand tools, special service tools, and calipers.
• Able to meet all mandated safety requirements and Company policies and procedures.
• Expected to adhere to safe work practices and general safety rules to ensure employee and customer safety and high quality of work.
• Capable of lifting/carrying up to 100 lbs; considerable activity required.

• Prior experience working in a distribution center or warehouse environment preferred.
• Inventory Control experience required.
• ERP/MRP experience a plus.
• Data Entry experience (invoicing) required.
• Current forklift certification required. Hazmat training preferred.
