Randy Lyman grew up in Poulsbo, Washington and discovered his love for mechanics, engineering, and physics at an early age. Randy worked for a time as a computer programmer in the aerospace industry while attending college. He completed his degree in Physics, with a concentration in Mechanical Engineering from California State University Sacramento. While there he received the Outstanding Achievement Award from the National Physics Honor Society. Today he is the CEO and Founder of Randy’s Ring & Pinion.

In his spare time, Randy enjoys being involved in local community service. He enjoys speaking to school groups about the importance of self confidence, professionalism, and empowering people toward their own positive change. Randy has written several magazine articles and contributed technical information to many different publications. And, when time allows, Randy enjoys dirt bikes in the desert, and restoring old card and trucks like his 1976 Bronco, 1954 Willys Delivery, and two 1921 Model T's.
